Impromptu Classics is a record label started in June of 2008, with its first CD released to online stores August 24,
2008 to highly favorable reception. The debut CD includes works of Chopin, Flagello, and Rachmaninoff played by prizewinning
pianist, Rorianne Schrade, whose recordings on the Centaur label have been praised for years by the press and the public.
The second release of Impromptu Classics, a live 25th Anniversary Concert by Howard Aibel, became

in the American Record Guide and the Juilliard Journal. In this centennial year of Samuel Barber, one will be hard pressed
to find a more exciting rendition of the composer's tremendous Sonata for piano.
